About Us

Jamberoo Action Park is one of this region’s largest employers during the open season. The water park has been in constant operation for the past 40 years providing a “quality entertainment experience” to millions of guests over that time, located just 20 minutes south of Wollongong, 15 minutes from Shellharbour and 10 minutes from the Kiama districts.

About Jamberoo Action Park

Jamberoo Action Park is NSW’s largest family-owned and operated water theme park, a favourite for people across the region and one of the most recognised tourism brands in the state. Just an hour from Sydney, the park is set between the mountains and the sea, with a back-drop of the spectacular Illawarra escarpment.

Established over 40 years ago, out of a small dairy farm, the park has changed substantially over the years, growing from a single chair lift to over a dozen world-class rides and attractions. Despite their growth, they've kept the things that made them great - a real passion for entertainment, a commitment to providing something for everyone, and the sense of ownership and teamwork that comes from being a local, family-owned business.
